Alaties Beach is a small hidden inlet surrounded by rocks and lush green forest mountains. It is located in the Errisos region on Kefalonia Island and is a 20-minute drive from the famous Fiscardo fishing village. The beach is famous for its salt accumulations and shallow rock pools for a natural hot salt bath. Snorkelling and scuba diving are popular water sports that should be enjoyed with caution due to the strong water currents.
Climb down a few stairs from the nearby parking lot to access the beach. A small tavern and a few changing rooms are the only facilities available here. Carry your own parasols, sunbeds, towels, and diving equipment as there are no facilities on the beach.
