Yang Na Nai tree, Koh Phangan Overview
This is the island's tallest tree, which is 14 metres tall. These trees are commonly known for the production of latex rubber and are grown to protect rice fields soil fertility. They form a canopy that casts very little shade to the rice roots. The Yang Na Nai tree is left to grow untouched and is worth a visit. The tree is easy to find, you have to walk towards the Thong Nai Pan.
