Pulau Ketam Island is a great place for family outings in Malaysia. Popularly known as the Crab Island, Palau Ketam houses several attractions like local Chinese temples, a breathtaking beach, local food joints and several others. This island houses two major settlements namely Pulau Ketam Village and Sungai Lima Village.
Situated off the Klang coast, this island is a great place to visit if you wish to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is because motor vehicles are forbidden on the island. You can either walk or ride a bicycle to commute on the island. Pulau Ketam is also a paradise for sea-food lovers. While the island is home to several crabs and marine creatures, it also offers some of the most sumptuous local sea-food delicacies that are truly satiating. The ferry jetty ride at Pulau Ketam also offers a great experience. You can catch a glimpse of several local fisherman boats, sampans at the coast.
