Located in Jalan Perdana of Malaysia, the Royal Malaysian Police Museum houses invaluable artefacts ranging from handmade guns to automatic weapons about the Royal Malaysian Police since its inception. A museum for the celebratory accomplishments of the Police force, Royal Malaysian Police Museum also has innumerable evidence of the crime issues that emerged during the past.
The arrow-shaped wooden architecture of the museum showcasing traditions of Malaysia houses antic Wickham trolley, Sankey At-105 armoured car, Ford Lynx Scout Car, Shorland Patrol vehicle, handmade gadgets of the 1970’s Botak Chin Clan, and others. Originally established in 1958 in Jalan Semarak under the supervision of the Police Training Centre, this museum has now been shifted to the new building at Jalan Pardena in 1998. Close to the Islamic Arts Museum, KL Bird Park, and National Mosque, the off-beat museum of Royal Malaysian Police is a quintessential destination for tourists and travellers, having a knack for the history, culture, and traditions of Malaysia.
