Kune Falls are the 14th highest waterfalls in India located in Lonavala with a total height of 200 metres. The enchanting waterfalls in Lonavala fall in three tiers amidst the backdrop of tantalising Sahyadris within the Lonavala-Khandala valley and makes up for an enchanting visual experience. Unfortunately, the road to the Kune Falls is under private and hence visitor entry is restricted.
You can only witness this gorgeous waterfall during monsoons. Due to high pressure winds, the water starts to flow backwards instead of falling down. This process is called "Reverse Waterfall".
