Located in the Exposition park of Los Angeles, the Natural History Museum is the largest natural and historical museum in the western United States. With nature gardens and 3D theatres both encompassed into a neoclassical architecture spread across 6 acres, the museum is also associated with La Brea Tar pits in Hancock Park. The pollinator meadow and the Urban Waterfall and Creek are the two famous spots for the visitors to engage in sightseeing of beautiful flowers and flowing creek.
The seasonal Butterfly Pavilion is another ephemeral exhibition to look forward to as you witness some of the permanent exhibitions including the Dinosaur Hall and the Age of Mammals. These exhibitions give the visitors a chance to actively engage in exploring over 300 fossils to study the primaeval world of Dinosaurs. You must wander to the Rotunda - an elegant corner of the museum surrounded with marble columns to view the Julia Bracken Wendt’s Three Muses, or History, Science and Art. Dig through the Gem and mineral hall finding exquisite emeralds and rubies to finally reach the Nature Lab where you can meet live animals like Odin the owl and Willow the Gopher Snake. Participate in numerous workshops organised by the museum to inspire discovery and responsibility for natural worlds among yourselves.
