Coloane is an island in Macau known for its beaches and buildings and is also home to the small village of Coloane. The narrow streets of the Coloane village are lined with pastel-coloured houses and shops and Portuguese style churches.
The island of Coloane also catches the visitor’s eye as it houses two of the most resplendent beaches of Macau – Hac Sa and Cheoc Van. The Museum of Nature and Agriculture, the A-Ma statue and Cultural village and Seac Pai Van Park are also some of the other important highlights of this island. Acknowledged as one of the most picturesque and beautiful villages in Macau, Coloane is an introvert’s heaven and an extrovert’s escape.
