The Mumbai-Pune Highway connects Matheran to these major cities. Regular state transport buses from Mumbai, Pune and Panvel are available to reach Matheran. However, buses are allowed only till Neral. Buses can be availed till Neral. You have to rely on toy trains or cars till Dasturi Naka for the rest of the journey.
