Most prefer to visit this lovely island in the dry season which commences in January and ends by April. Temperature is mostly above 26 degrees Celcius which makes it suitable for activities under the sun. However, most resorts are crowded during this time.

Getting Around the Island

For travelling around Koh Yao Noi you can hire a motorbike for THB 200 for half a day. Roaming around in a tuk tuk to enjoy the beautiful landscape is also a good option.

How To Reach Koh Yao Noi

It is possible to reach Koh Yao Noi from the pier of Bang Rong which is located on the eastern side of Phuket. Route no 4027 easts must be taken which starts from the Monument of Heroines and then you must take a right turn when you see Bang Rong. Then continue going along the same path for some time. The ticket price for travelling in the ferry for one hour is THB 50 and it travels to Yao Noi only thrice a day. You have the option of departing either at 9:30 AM, at noon or in the evening at 5:00 PM. You can reach the island of Koh Yao Yai by boat and it takes another 8 minutes of journey to reach Koh Yao Noi. You also have the option to reserve a private boat from Ao Po to reach the island of Koh Yao Noi.
