Pansea Beach, Phuket Overview
Nestling along Phuket's west coast at the Surin Beach's northern tip, Pansea Beach is a hidden paradise. Tourists vacationing in Phuket often spend a day at the beach to get away from the busy town. A relaxing Thai massage, hanging out by the beach shacks, and water sports such as windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkelling are some of the activities here.
This secluded beach comfortably straddles between the luxurious Amanpuri Resort and the Surin Resort, making Pansea Beach a private beach of either of the two properties. However, since private beaches are not allowed in Thailand, the beach is open to the public as well. Either end of Pansea Beach host splendid rock formations in addition to plenty of coral reefs. The beach is also a lovely sunset viewpoint.
