Situated on a small island of Culebrita beside the East coast, the Tortuga beach is accessible just through boats or water taxis with a limited amount of public amenities. It also has the oldest lighthouses in the Caribbean and trails exploring West beach, Trash Beach and tidal pools. The beach being remotely located has minimal access to facilities in the area.
Tortuga Beach is popular for having a large number of turtles along the seashore and diverse corals making it one of the popular beaches in Puerto Rico for snorkeling and swimming.
