Traganou Beach, Rhodes Island Overview

Traganou Beach is a sandy, pebble beach surrounded by grey cliffs on all sides. It is a very scenic location. Locals use the caves of the cliffs as natural reserves to collect sea salt and crystals, which are then sold. The beach waters are clear and have great conditions for snorkelling. Parking is free, and 2 sunbeds and a parasol are rented at EUR 15 in peak season. Water shoes are essential.

Traganou Beach is less commercialized than some of its neighboring beaches. One of the highlights of Traganou Beach is its impressive cave, located at the far end of the beach. This natural formation provides a unique and exciting spot for exploration and photography.
