Francis Beach Campground, San Francisco Overview

Half Moon Bay, the pictorial coastal city in San Mateo county of California, has a string of beaches and a singular bay including the very famous Half Moon Bay State Beach. Francis Beach is an ocean retreat alongside a coastal trail ideal for picnicking, sun-basking and fishing. It has a campground and a visitor centre for enhancing knowledge on coastal history. Nestled on forty feet elevation of Kelly Avenue, Francis Beach Campground provides arresting views of the Pacific Ocean. The campground has 52 individual sites, depending on its suitability for tent-camping, trailing and recreational vehicles.

It provides excellent services including picnic tables, coin-operated hot showers, restrooms, water-filling station and dumping bins.
Campfires and pets are strictly prohibited on the beach. However, fires are allowed at approved spots on the campground and also accommodate pets on leashes on camping sites. Trail hiking, biking to the Kings Highway and horseback riding on the campground is some of the most enjoyable recreational activities around the campground. Downtown Half Moon Bay along with restaurants and coffee shops are nearby exploring options of the campground.
