Golden Gate Park is a large city park in San Francisco, California. The San Francisco Recreation & Parks Development looks after the administration of this park since 1871. It consists of more than 1,000 acres of public grounds to explore. The park features gardens, museums, lakes, flowers, trees, birds, and wildlife. The Golden Gate Park has ten lakes, including the Stow Lake, Mallard lake, & the Lloyd lake.
This one is the third-highest visited park in the U.S. The park is free for day visits, yet famous attractions such as the Conservatory of Flowers, California Academy of Sciences, etc., charge admission fees from visitors.
