The Walt Disney Family Museum does more than enough to educate you with the life and legacy of Walt Disney, a man who in any case does not need any introduction. There are 10 permanent galleries in the museum, which take you through all the stages of his life, from childhood and breaking into Hollywood, to realising his dream of Disneyland and subsequent death. These galleries are truly engaging and captivating, using state of the art technology and displaying his comics, writings, many interesting artefacts, and of course, the one and only Mickey Mouse. There is a special lobby dedicated to displaying Walt's 248 awards which he won for his various works, including his many academy awards and the unique Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Oscar trophy, which has one full size trophy and 7 smaller ones. The museum is a huge favourite among kids and the adults of today who grew up with the cartoons he created. It is an absolute must visit to get to know about the man who made our childhood better!
