Ban Hang Khon is an ancient port on a hill built during the French, located in Ban Hang Village. It is located on Don Khon island in Si Phan Don in Champasak province in southern Laos. The port is known for the viewpoint, which offers excellent views of the Mekong River and the other islands from the top. You need to climb about 150 steps to get to the top. The path is steep, so make sure to wear good hiking shoes. Also, if traveling during the evening, carry flashlights with you.
