Best time to Skiathos is all year round. Summers, from mid-July to mid-August, are extremely hot but the island's lush vegetation makes it bearable. The islandÕs summers are specific to strong winds which may result in the need of a cardigan during evenings. Spring and Autumn are the best seasons to visit Skiathos. Spring, March to June, is spectacularly beautiful and full of flower fields. Island has less crowd, weather is pleasant and prices are affordable. From Autumn, in September and October, rainfall becomes consistent and lasts during all winter. In Winter, from November through February, Skiathos are calmer and quieter. And the landscape is particularly beautiful with almost no scope for water or touristy activities.
