European Parliament Strasbourg

The European Parliament in Strasbourg serves as the official seat of the European Union's legislative body. Located in the Quartier Européen (European Quarter) of Strasbourg, visitors can explore the Parliament's facilities six days a week, with free admission. The experience includes access to the Hemicycle—the main debating chamber—, the Parlamentarium Simone Veil, and various exhibitions. Visits are available in all 24 official EU languages.

For individual visitors, advance booking is not mandatory but recommended for groups. Guided tours can be arranged in English, French, or German, and should be booked at least two days in advance. The European Parliament is situated in the Wacken district of Strasbourg, along the Ill River, and is easily accessible via public transportation, including the city's tram system. The modern architecture of the Louise Weiss building, characterized by its distinctive glass façade, is a notable feature of the area.
