Playa de Benijo is a secluded black sand beach located in the Anaga Rural Park in northern Tenerife, Spain. Accessible via a steep path, it’s best visited during low tide for the most expansive shoreline. It is popular for sunsets and its views of the iconic Roques de Anaga sea stacks. To reach Benijo Beach, you have to walk along a path as this beach is not accessible by vehicles and there are very limited parking spaces. There are quite a few eateries and restaurants that serve authentic local food that is enjoyed by tourists. This beach is witness to very high and rough waves therefore it is best to avoid swimming here.
