in Tenerife is a renowned wildlife park located in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island's northern coast. It is famous for its extensive collection of parrots, exotic animals, and immersive attractions like dolphin and orca shows. The park features beautifully landscaped grounds, including a Thai-inspired village and lush botanical gardens.
Loro Parque, in Spanish, refers to as "parrot park". Set within a Jurassic Park environment, covering an area of 13.5 hectares. It houses a diverse range of animal and plant species. The park was conceived to be a paradise for the parrots and has the largest collection of parrots in the world. There are various shows in the park, featuring sea lions, dolphins and parrots. There is a huge parrot museum along with a parrot baby station. There is also a separate children's playground named Kinderlandia.
