Planning a Trip? Ask Your Question
Porto Limnionas beach is a secluded cove on the western coast of Zakynthos. The uneven surface of the land makes it more of a rocky, narrow bay than a beach. Porto Limnionas is surrounded by high limestone cliffs, which serve as popular freediving spots. The enchanting turquoise waters and mesmerising underwater caves make it a great snorkelling and scuba diving spot. Rent a car or private boat, or take a group boat tour to get to the secluded beach.
The beach is accessible after a short walk from the hilltop down the naturally carved stairs. This beach is not a family-friendly spot due to the absence of basic facilities and a flat sandy shoreline. The Portos Limnionas taverna, with its built-in platforms, is towards the end of the cliffs, where visitors can rent sunbeds and parasols. Porto Roxa Beach, Plakaki Beach, and Korakonnissi are the closest attractions.
