The Zurich Opera House was constructed in 1891 and has been the national venue for theatre, opera, and ballet ever since. It is located on the Sechseläutenplatz and has a seating capacity of 1,100 people and hosts various performances and shows.
The interiors of the building are intricately designed and painted with carvings that add up to the charm of the hall. Enjoy the recitals, operas, ballets and theatre performances in the magnificent hall with a golden ceiling adorned by a huge chandelier. It was designed by Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer in 1890. It showcases different bands and groups, including Bernhard Theatre, Zurich Ballet and many more.
