December Ð April is the best time to visit Caribbean Region
December to April serves as the best time to visit the Caribbean Island when there is lowest risk of rainfall and temperature is most comfortable. During January and February, seawater is cool and not suitable for swimming while water gets warmer during the months of March and April. It is also the peak season and hotels rates are quite high.
December to April is the peak visiting time when people flee the extreme winters to enjoy the pleasant weather conditions of the Caribbean. It is the driest time of the year, best for the land exploration of the region. However, the northern part from Cuba to the Bahamas can be cold.
This is the time when Caribbean receives moderate amount of rainfall and a decrease in number of tourists is seen. During this time, the tariffs of the hotels reduce marginally, less crowd and almost pleasant weather.
This is the low season, especially the months of June, July and August when rainfall is more frequent. June is the rainiest month of the year. Accommodation prices are reduced by half and sometimes even less. July and August can be sunny and nice for most parts. September and October are the peak time for hurricane activities and the worst time to visit the region. However, southern areas including Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao are least affected along with Barbados that is also quite safe considering it receives hurricane almost once in 20 years.
