Makam Keramat Anak Dara, also known as virgin’s grave or Keramat Rubiah, is a shrine or a pilgrimage site constructed to pay homage to a young girl by her parents. Placed on a small rocky hill of Kuala Selangor village towards Melaka and Selangor river straits, Makam Keramat Anak Dara is neighboured by Lake Shima, a calm lake popular for fishing and ample of lush green trees. The grave structure is entirely made of white marble padlocked in a gate. The grave can be reached through stepping on a steeped wooden staircase.
At the entrance of the shrine is a sign board with the folk tale about a young girl, Siti Aishah, who disappeared a night before her forced marriage. Though her parents never found the girl but discerned her clothes hanging on the tree, hence made a decision to build Makam Keramat Anak Dara to pay homage to their daughter.
