In August 2023, my wife and I decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. When analyzing many travel companies, we chose Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures and were not mistaken!
From pre-planning to boarding th (Read More)e plane after the tour, everything was organized at the highest level. The manager Edwin was in touch all the time and took into account all our wishes. We arrived in Tanzania through the Namanga land border with Kenya. Edwin personally met us at the border and took us to the hotel. The transfer was included in the price of the entire tour. Upon arrival at the hotel, everything was also done professionally: checking the available clothes and equipment, delivering and renting the missing equipment, exchanging money, buying a SIM card. Everything was organized very well.
On the ascent, we were accompanied by the guide August, assistant guide Bariko, cook, assistant cook and porters. The correct pace during the ascent, good planning and excellent four meals a day (delicious soups, meat and fish dishes, fresh fruits, etc.) made it possible to climb to the top and descend from it without any problems.
I was very surprised by the punctuality at all stages of the journey. Everything was always done without delay and at the same time without haste. Nobody demanded any additional unexpected surcharges. Everyone is very friendly.
Yesterday we (my wife and myself) went on a day-trip to Arusha National Park. (starting from Moshi). Getting information and making the reservation was done directly with the owner in perfect English (Read More)via email and whatsapp messages. The day before the trip we even had a personal briefing in the hotel. The trip itself was organised in a very professional manner. Car was comfortable with the roof that opens lifting up in order for us to stand and have a 360° view and be protected from the sun. The included lunch package was very good, and diversified (..even with a piece of cake). The guide/driver had a lot of experience which made the safari a full success. We are very happy having selected the highly professional “Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures” tour operator.
