Beautiful, heartwarming and hospitable Bhutan
Our trip to Bhutan was a major eye opener and more than exemplified why the country is known as the “Land of Happiness.”
This Gross National Happiness i (Read More)s equally exemplified by Bimal and his crew — guide Dorji and pilot Bhim.
Dorji took care of all our needs during our trip, ensuring that we didn’t miss out on any experience.
Bhim is probably the most skilful driver I have come across. I get car sick on winding roads but Bhim managed to ensure that I never faced the problem. Of course, I took some meds and sat on the front seat, looking ahead. His skills were especially tested during the foggy weather when one could not see anything.
Bimal managed to pack everything in the well structured 9-day itinerary. The highlight for me was the Homestay and the hike to the Tiger Nest Monastery. We took 10 hours to complete the hike, stopping often to admire the fauna and flora of Bhutan. And Dorji patiently helped and accompanied us throughout.
My only one regret is the choice of some hotels as they catered to Indian tourists, and served Indian food.
Otherwise I rate the trip 10/10!

A very special mention to our guide SONAM , who was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always attentive to our needs. He made sure we understood Bhutan’s culture, history, and traditions while keeping the trip enjoyable and stress-free.
Huge appreciation as well to our driver BALDHOJ, who was professional, safe, and always punctual. What touched us the most was the special care both SONAM and BALDHOJ showed to our 5-year-old child throughout the journey. They were patient, warm, and constantly made sure our little one was comfortable and happy.
Their support during our trek to Tiger’s Nest was exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us manage the trek with a young child, encouraging us and ensuring we felt safe and comfortable the entire way.
Thanks to this wonderful team, our Bhutan trip became a lifetime memory. Highly recommend KNG to anyone visiting Bhutan!
