I recently went on a trip organized by Roamer's Paradise, which included stays in Darjeeling, Pelling, and Gangtok. While there were some sweet moments during the journey, the overall experience was a (Read More) mix of highs and lows, especially when it came to the stays in Darjeeling and Gangtok.
First, let me acknowledge that the team at Roamer's Paradise did try their best to help us when things didn’t go as planned. We had to make changes to our accommodations in Darjeeling and Gangtok, and they were responsive in assisting us. However, the reality of the trip didn’t quite match the initial expectations.
The biggest issue was the lack of clarity about the overall budget. The tour description did not accurately reflect the real ground situation, and we found ourselves facing unexpected costs. This lack of transparency made it difficult to plan financially, which was disappointing.
Moreover, the accommodations, particularly in Darjeeling and Gangtok, did not meet the standard we were led to expect. There were issues with the comfort and facilities, making the stays less enjoyable than anticipated. While Pelling was a bit better, the overall experience felt more like a series of bumps on a long road rather than a smooth, enjoyable trip.
In the end, Roamer’s Paradise did try to help and solve some of the issues, but the tour could have been much more enjoyable with better planning and communication. Unfortunately, I can’t say this trip lived up to expectations.
While this was totally based on the stays and overall experience, I would also like to throw some light to the overall planning of sightseeing which was absolutely amazing! Would rate coordination with respect to pick up and overall care experience 3.5/5, would also put their names, Vinod was excellent as a driver and person, second goes to Biswas these 2 names stand out from the rest of the drivers.
1.5 points missed due to unprofessional driver as they demanded extra cash and also tried to move out from their schedule, wasting time in chit-chats and their leisure time (Smoking).

I have traveled puri with my family this year only , Roamer’s paradise holidays guided us with transportation, hotel stays and sightseeing(everything was so good).
