Greece is one of the countries that has signed the Schengen agreement with Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Iceland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. No passports are required when travelling from one Schengen country to the other. People visiting multiple Schengen countries at a time can apply for one Schengen tourist visa which allows them to travel to all the countries. There are short stay visas available for a period of 90 days while long stay D visa allows one to stay in Greece for more than 3 months.
