    Stay at grand national
    Location
    The service is not 5 star. Frigo bar is free but almost empty and porters have to be called all the time. They even tried to charge me 40 euros for 2 boiled eggs at breakfast. The lobby needs re decoration and some fresh enthusiasm should be instilled in the staff

    Big event ongoing and difficult for the staff to make guests feel fully welcome. But full marks to your receptionist, who was delightful.

    We were very disappointed. The room we reserved was different than the pictures we saw in Booking. They moved us to a bigger room but the furniture is very old, not very clean and has a bad smell. The balcony is not clean at all, the terrace is very old. The other day there was no housekeeping although we got out of the room since morning. The staff was unprofessional, when we didnt like the room when we first arrived and asking to cancel the reservation or change the room, one of the staff was listening and speaking with his colleague said: Drama I was only practicing my rights to complain about the room! The other day we needed help in the morning we called the reception with no answer. Unfortunately, our experience was awful. We had to move to another hotel and couldnt continue our second night. And of course we paid for the second night.

    Great staff and pleasent hotel by the lake side
    Staff were very welcoming and attentive to all our needs - went the extra mile on several occasions. Choice of some top quality restaurants in the hotel, especially the Brasserie, fantastic location, spacious room.
    The rooms are quite expensive considering the hotel is a little dated.
