Some guests found the prices high, but enjoyed the helpful staf (Read More)f and excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel's location is convenient for events in Southampton. Guests praised the cleanliness and leisure facilities, with a special mention for a standout staff member named Socrates for his exceptional hospitality. Some room upgrades were disappointing, but overall, a good stay was had.

Trip away.

A pleasant surprise was access to the pool and sauna. We had a lovely dinner, a good sleep and topped off with a good breakfast in the morning.

Pool/gym were located a few minutes walk away from hotel, and were not particularly well sign-posted.

A beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds not far from the city centre!

The staff were friendly and accommodating and the hotel is beautiful and very relaxing! Food is great too with a nice big bar for some late evening drinks by the log fire !

The pool and gym closed at 8pm and I went there at 7pm and wasnt allowed in and I felt disrespected

Disappointing

Convenient location

Unfortunately for us and the staff the hotel had been overrun by members of the traveling community (gypsys) This totally ruined our stay and our reunion with an old friend
