The Holiday Inn Downtown Sioux Falls is praised for its cheerful and friendly staff, spotless rooms, and lively atmosphere. Some rooms have awkwardly designed bathrooms, but others are comfortable. M (Read More)any guests love everything about the hotel, including the helpful shuttle driver, front desk, and housekeeping. Location

Terrible experience. We planned to have a birthday relax for my son, and got very spicy food from restaurant ( no info in the menu about spicy Ingredients) and got stomach problems after that, and we didn't sleep almost all night because of neighbors, and nobody helped us and didn't compensate anything.

Superb

The location was perfect for our visit, the staff was friendly and helpful, our room was very clean.

We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. We had dinner the night of our arrival and it was delicious.

The shower was hard to turn on, so we reported it to the management - for them to fix before the next people rented the room.

The room was comfortable and clean

Front desk personnel when checking in were just shy of rude. Did not explain where services were located like pool, exercise room or even the elevators. Only way I knew room number was from the key envelope. The whirlpool was COLD. I believe the water in the pool was as warm. There was no drain stop in the bathtub so partner had to stuff pool towels on the drain.

The beds and restaurant.

Loud at night. The day we checked out the front desk, employees practically ignored us when my husband informed them we were checking out. They stared at us like we was talking a foreign language. I finally had to say hello excuse me. Then we snapped out of their rudeness. The younger crew there Friday and Saturday was great.

Disappointing

Disappointing for the price

Location to downtown, totally walkable.

The hotel needed updating, it was under construction for some bar renovations and so they had another area set up for bar and restaurant that wasn't pleasant or inviting. For the money, I would have totally stayed somewhere else even if I had to drive unto town. Also the bathroom was old and the toilet had pee in it when we checked in.
