The whole experience at Pickalbatros Villaggio Portofino Marsa Alam is absolutely amazing - we spent one week between Christmas and New Year Eve here.
We arranged two-way taxi service at the hotel which turned out to be a wise choice - the price is reasonable and it was reassuring to have the Hotel-arranged taxi driver there waiting when we came to a totally new destination.
Upon arrival at the reception, hotel staff welcomed us with warm greetings, swift check-in and Christmas special drinks and snacks while we could simply sit down on couches in the lobby. During the whole time of our stay, Mr. Haytham Aly from the Reception offered us assistance from all perspectives professionally and personally: laundry, late-check out, restaurant booking, etc.. He always asked for feedback and listened attentively. Besides him, staff work at beach bars, lobby bar, housekeeping, concierge, shuttle service, towel stations, beach safety stations and activity team are all striving to give us an unforgettable experience. Kudos to the whole team!
Mr. Mohamed Saad from the hotel travel desk (concierge) helped recommend and arrange our transfer taxi and later a dolphin house trip. Our children loved it because they could go snorkeling so close to dolphins and swim through colorful corals and fish. We truly enjoyed the trip!
Food and beverages provided by the hotel have many choices and are abundant, almost around-the-clock.
We have no reservations to recommend Pickalbatros Villaggio Resort Portofino should anyone plan to come to Marsa Alam.
