    Guests had an amazing stay at The Roundabout Hotel, praising the delicious, locally sourced food and friendly hosts. The hotel space was quaint and aesthetically pleasing, with a larger suite than ex (Read More)pected. A networking breakfast was enjoyed in a beautiful meeting room with helpful staff. While the service was a bit inconsistent, guests found the hotel clean, comfortable, and the food well-prepared. Overall, a recommended choice for a quality break.

    Great old full of character central hotel!
    Quirky hotel full of history. Lovely staff all polite & welcoming. Impressive hard to make choices on the breakfast/lunch/dinner menus! Def coming back!

    We will not be going back
    Good location for visiting our family and the room rates seemed reasonable, breakfast was included.
    Noise from the restaurants Christmas party carried on until well after 1 am, Room 6 was leaking water by the headboard and breakfast was not great quality. Bed in room 6 was poor quality. Bathrooms in both room 6 and 22 are really shabby and need an urgent update.

    Good food but let down by neglected accommodation
    The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was amazingly good.
    The whole hotel is in desperate need of major refurbishment.

    Dinner was very good and the staff were very helpful
    Difficult to find how to get into the hotel when driving in. Bar and restaurant area was very cold in the morning Coffee machine not working Decaff coffee and tea in the bedrooms would be good

    The food was nice and some staff were nice
    There was 2 functions on Friday and Saturday night and the parties of people filled up the bar area as there tables were not ready, so for about 60 minutes me and my had to wait to have a drink and order dinner after a long day out. The wait for food was a long time due to the Xmas parties we were not told about these and were just made to wait. Also the mattresses in the bedroom have had there day were really uncomfortable and noisy.

    Lovely, lovely people.
    The people are so, so, nice. I had my dog with me and he and I were spoilt rotten. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast, "would you like an extra sausage for the dog". Thankyou. It's cold "would you like me to take your dog outside for a wee". Thankyou. Special mention to young Reilly. So helpful. Oh, and the bar area is nice and cosy, lovely roaring fire and comfy chairs. A real community feel to the place.
    It's a tad noisy from the roundabout traffic.
