    Excellent relaxed stay made to feel at home by the friendly efficient staff - We have rebooked!
    The Staff were welcoming and friendly, The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was excellent.
    The swimming pool was closed throughout our stay due to a technical issue The jugs and bowls on display could do with a dust.

    it was a nice short break between 2 other destinations.
    warm, comfortable and close to town
    the fact the pool was not available. very expensive drinks in the bar. I was charged 11 for a large glass of house Malbec. 7. -8 the average price in town.

    Great in some areas not so great in others
    Reception and house keeping staff were excellent - helpful and friendly. Room very comfortable and cosy
    Plunge pool not accessible. Breakfast was not a relaxing experience due to everyone arriving at same time. Staff in restaurant were lacking experience in helping guests and food wasn't always available at the buffet. I felt more of a 3 star hotel and spa rather than a 4. Also changing rooms at spa were sometimes really messy. You need more experienced staff to stay on top of everything

    A nice hotel but disappointed by failure of the hotel to say in advance spa was closed.
    The room was a good size and very comfortable.
    The hotel is called a hotel and spa however the spa closed at 4pm on the day we visited and with check in after 3pm we thus could not use it. At no time during the booking process or the 5 subsequent emails I received from the hotel did they mention that the spa would be closed early. Normal closure time is 2000 hours. We had planned the visit as a night away after christmas with use of the facilities before a nice meal out in the evening. I would not have booked this hotel had I known the spa would be closed. I feel misled . At reception they said it was because of new years eve the night before - which makes no sense at all!

    Disappointed in the stay and would not recommend
    Bedroom - the room was decorated nicely, comfy bed and good facilities
    Spa - We were informed on arrival that the pool was closed which I understand was a health and safety reason, however, I do feel I should have been told before I arrived so I could change my stay date. Robes - It was not mentioned we needed to get robes from reception, so once we called the spa to check we made our way to reception to be told they had no robes. Staff were unhelpful and gave no alternative. Changing rooms - These were not overly clean and majority of the lockers were in use, or broken, which was a problem when wanting to lock away belongings. The spa floor was also extremely slippery. Room service - We called down about 6:00 to order room service for dinner, however, we were told we would only be able to have a sandwich or panini as chefs were getting ready for the evening. This should have been made clearer so that alternative plans could have been made. Breakfast - When booking through this website, it looked clear to me that breakfast was included (especially for the price!) Although when I went down to eat, staff asked me if I wanted to pay before or after. I spoke with reception who told me that booking through this website is not personally recommended as it is confusing and staff were dismissive to the subject. When checking out, I mentioned the concerns to a member of staff, who again was dismissive and suggested I book again to be upgraded!
