The second route is the same as the first one till Chitradurga and will take you through the NH4, after will you will have to take the diversion to NH 13 towards Hospet. The NH 13 is also a four-lane highway, but you will encounter heavy traffic en route, especially around Hospet. Thus, it is advisable to take this route only if Hampi is also a part of your agenda.
