Rising 1,826 metres over ancient rainforests, Gunung Adeng is Bali’s second-highest mountain and a majestic hiking destination with a 14km out-and-back trail. On the way to the summit, you would come across centuries-old temples and shrines, meditation areas, panoramic waterfalls for a summertime dip, wild orchid gardens, a few vendors, and trees and flowers that grow only in tropical landscapes.
