Nestled in the northern part of Chicago, near the Edgewater community, Kathy Osterman Beach was once renowned as the Hollywood Beach.
It might not be the biggest beach in the city, but it’s one of the nicest beaches to relax and spend time in the evenings.
The beach mostly attracts only the local folks of Chicago, and also is a perfect place to take part in fun activities, like cycling. Other amenities of the beach include a volleyball court, a fishing pier, and some benches. Shallow waters are present here, which makes it a great place for swimming. It is also home to a 3-acre native dune habitat where visitors can explore the natural beauty of flowering plants and dune grasses.
