Dallas Athletic Club, Dallas Overview
Dallas Athletic Club, popularly known as DAC is a private country club established in 1919. It was originally located at the corner of St Paula and Live Oak Street and in 1954, it relocated to the eastern intersection of Interstate 30 and 635.
There are two golf courses at the club – the blue course and the Gold course which were both designed by Jack Nicklaus. The blue course has hosted tournaments such as the 1963 PGA Championship. The Gold course was considered lesser of the two. It was redesigned to equip eight lakes and play.
