Renowned for its skatepark - Gulfton Skatepark, Burnett Bayland Park is set in a neighborhood home to over 70 nationalities, making it one of the best and vibrant places to stay in the city.
The park was established in 1996 and features a children’s playground, a community garden, ball fields, a community center, a water playground, and many more. In 2016, the youth of Gulfton came together to develop a project, which is now the Gulfton Skatepark at Burnett Bayland Park. This 17,500 square feet park invites a range of skaters who navigate through the concrete playground to show off their skills. This skatepark is built for skaters of all levels.
