Formerly known as Transco Waterwall and Williams Waterwall, Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park is known for its multi-story U-shaped fountain.
Nestled in the uptown district of Houston, Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park features a 64-foot fountain recirculating 11,000 gallons of water per minute. This water wall was designed and created by John Burgee and Philip Johnson in 1985. And the oak trees that shade the 3-acre park, and the park surrounding the fountain serves as an architectural amenity to the location. This location is one of the most-photographed sites in the city, and it’s perfect for strolling, picnicking, and playing around in the park.
