Jade Buddha Temple, Houston Overview
A part of Texas Buddhist Association, the Jade Buddha Temple was was inaugurated in 1989. One of the most frequented Buddhist temples in Texas, the Jade Buddha Temple is known for its Buddhist ceremonies like the chanting sessions, repentance assembly and meditation retreats.
The temple invites speakers from other Buddhist institutions and sects to have discourses and meditations every now and then. Also, this temple takes initiative for a weekly Sunday English Buddhist class along with meditation sessions in the Kwan Ying Hall. The highlight of this temple is the simple yet satiating vegetarian Sunday lunches which one should not miss!
