The newest edition to the Houston zoo, the Kipps Aquarium is home to one the latest and rarest species of marine life. The aquarium has the perfect amount of lighting and ideal surroundings to not only make the animals comfortable but also make the aquarium experience wholesome for the visitors. The Kipps aquarium is mostly home to fish and marine life that is found in the gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic ocean.
The aquarium has a large tank of jellyfish that are most comfortable living under the sunlight, in addition to this they also have a 10,000 gallon water tank which is home to several shimmering fish and cownose rays. The aquarium also houses sea horses, large turtles and baby sharks. These fish are showcased in the aquarium with the aim of spreading knowledge to the visitors to understand and value the oceans.
