The two local specialities of this area are Ensaimada, a flat and soft pastry coil, which resembles a Danish Pastry more like a doughnut and Flao, a sweet cheese and mint flan. There are a lot of fast food restaurants in Ibiza and San Antonio if you are looking for quick eats. Other important dishes to try are "Arros de matances"- a rice dish served with mear, "frita de porc"- a pork dish and " sofrit pages" - that is a typical countryside dish. Don't forget to try Orelletes which is a small ear shaped cake.
