Situated around 45 km southwest of Jodhpur city near Barmer in Rajasthan, Dhawa Doli Wildlife Sanctuary boasts of rich wildlife mainly comprising of wild animals that include blackbucks, cheetal, sambhar, Desert Rats and Antelopes, desert foxes and nilgai etc. The place is also considered a haven for birdwatchers since it attracts a lot of exotic migratory birds. The place is best visited either at dusk or dawn when most of the animals can be spotted either leaving their homes or returning to their shelter.
