Bamboo Island, Krabi Overview

Bamboo Island (Koh Pai) is part of the Phi Phi Archipelago, named for the bamboo groves growing wild at its centre. It's a popular add-on stop on Phi Phi day-trip itineraries thanks to its shallow, reef-edged water, good for snorkelling without a boat or gear rental. There's one beach bar on the sand if you want to stay past the group-tour crowds.

Bamboo Island is one the six islands in the phi phi island group. It is named after the dense bamboo growth in the middle of the island flaked by clean white beaches. Take a day trip here with family or friends to experience a bit of both the jungle and the beach on a hot day.
