Morib Beach, also known as Pantai Morib is a popular recreational beach in Selangor, Malaysia. One of the closest beaches to Kuala Lumpur, it is a very popular weekend getaway place and a short day trip destination. The coastal area stretches around 3 km with pine trees flowing with the sea wind and picnic spots one after the other. The beach is known for its historical spots and places. Beautiful landscapes and mesmerizing surroundings with recreational activities like beach football, golf, kids’ playground, kite flying make Morib Beach worth visiting.

History enthusiasts can explore ruins of the royal grave and an age old palace with some ancient government buildings along the beach.

How to Reach Morib Beach, Selangor?

Bus: Board either bus 730 from Klang Valley or bus 734 from KL Sentral to reach Banting. Hop into a taxi thereafter for Morib Beach.

Road: Take a taxi or drive through the KESAS highway towards Banting Road. Follow the Banting road for another 25 km drive to reach Morib Beach.

Don’t stick only to the promenade section and explore the sandy beach behind Pusat Latihan Awam for more landscapes and picturesque beachside.
Weather forecast needs to be checked before going to the beach to avoid high tides.
Keep credit cards and cash handy as there are very few ATM kiosks around.
