Kinchkha Waterfall, a striking natural monument in the Imereti region, is a must-visit destination for nature lovers. The waterfall’s unique geomorphological structure, set against limestone cliffs and surrounded by vibrant greenery, creates a breathtaking sight. You can explore the area via a marked 2.1 kilometer trail, leading to panoramic views and tranquil natural pools. Located near the village of Kinchkha, 843 meters above sea level, this triple-stage cascade features waterfalls of 25, 70, and 35 meters in height.
The first two waterfalls, standing 20 meters and 70 meters high, are formed by the flow of a tributary of the Satsiskvilo River over limestone slopes. The third, approximately 35 meters high, is created after the tributary merges with the Satsiskvilo River. Situated close to popular sites like Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon, Kinchkha Waterfall offers a serene escape into nature. Despite its relatively remote location, it remains one of Georgia's favorite travel destinations.
