Agia Eleni in Chora is a church of the Post-Byzantine era and is a preserved monument even today. It is the biggest church in the Mykonos Castle area with beautiful views of the Aegean sea. The church is a basilica that has a 9-meter-high bell tower and a chapel.
The white building of the basilica has important icons of St. John the Baptist, Apostles, Archangel Michael, and remarkable iconostasis. Twice a year there is a church service that takes place here.
