Hotel Des Invalides is one of the most popular complexes in Paris with military museums and monuments. The highlight of the building is the 107 meters dome where Napoleon I was buried. It is situated in the 7th arrondissement of the city.
Housing a number of extraordinary artworks, it was originally built as a home to war veterans in 1676, the massive courtyard extends to the French building with a lavish facade having a dome rooftop. There is a hospital, a retirement house and a royal chapel inside the Hotel Des Invalides. It is constructed in the French Baroque style that depicts the monarch symbol of France. There is a special forces exhibition that opens only at night on 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th January from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The first and second world war zones are closed to the public till 30 June 2023.
Other Important Objective Information : Free Parking is available near the building. The tickets are only available at the ticket counter at the entrance of the complex.
