Panormos in Rethymno

Panormos in Rethymno is a quaint village, which is popular destination for tourists, especially in summer. It is popularly known for its two main beaches, Limani and Limni. With a harbor, two main beaches, and a village center the village features narrow streets, shops, and eateries. There are also a number of activities, like a wine tour at Klados Winery, that can be added to the day trip to Panormos.

Limani Beach, located next to the central part of the resort, is well-organized with sunbeds, umbrellas, and showers, while Limni Beach, situated to the west, provides similar amenities. Major attractions include Agia Sofia Basilica and Fish Spa Center. It is also suitable for families with children, thanks to its sandy beaches and shallow waters. Located in the village of Klados, 20 kilometers from Panormos, there is a family-owned winery that offers guided tours and wine tastings. The village is often treated as a day trip from Rethymno.
